JOBU: A BILINGUAL BOOKING PLATFORM FOR A SKIN THERAPY STUDIO

Overview

JOBU is a premium advanced skin therapy studio in Lanzarote. I am building its website and client platform: a bilingual (English and Spanish) marketing site, a treatment catalogue, online booking with deposits, digital consultation and consent forms, and an automated client-journey communications flow. A shop, gift vouchers, memberships, and a client portal are planned later phases.

The Problem

JOBU needs to position itself as a trusted premium clinic while supporting future growth into skincare retail and education. That means a site that looks the part, booking that takes deposits and reduces no-shows, and automation that keeps clients informed from first enquiry through to aftercare and rebooking.

The Approach

The platform is a Django project with Tailwind, Alpine.js, and HTMX on the front. Business logic lives in services, and the site is internationalised across English and Spanish from the start rather than retrofitted. The client journey (confirmation, preparation, reminder, aftercare, follow-up, and rebooking) is designed as a defining feature, not an add-on.

Status

JOBU is pre-launch. The current live surface is an editorial opening-soon homepage with the deployment scaffolding in place. Booking, consent forms, the client portal, the shop, vouchers, and memberships are specified and phased for delivery after launch.
